My favorite holiday in colombia is the carnival of barranquilla, which is celebrated every year with the parade of comparsas and floats. where people dress up in colorful costumes and listen to music like cumbia, salsa, champeta and reggaeton. The mapale, cumbia, and garabato are traditional dances.
Some important events in this Holiday are the coronation of the queen, battle of flowers, guacherna and concerts. where you usually eat chuzo, butifarras and soup.
* Which celebration do you prefer? Christmas or NewYear? Why?
I prefer Christmas because I can celebrate with my whole family, watch the fireworks, attend the novenas, share a delicious dinner and open the gifts that the child of God brings.
